God gave His word to enable us to share in His divine nature, escape the corruption in this world and equip us for the good work He created us to accomplish.

However, the word will do you no good if you don’t take time to ponder on it, pray about it and ask the Holy Spirit to teach you. Therefore it’s important to plant God’s words on your heart by meditating on it and constantly Decale to yourself who you are in Christ.
